Awarded April 2003
Exabyte's Magnum20 LTO tape library won the award for best new technology solution of the year at FOSE 2003, the largest IT exposition for U.S. government agencies. Exabyte's LTO tape library was for setting a new standard for value in a mid-range tape library, offering government agencies a tape automation solution with the capabilities to meet their specific capacity, performance, scalability and budgetary needs.

Finalist, Macworld Editor's Choice Award

Macworld called the Exabyte VXA-1 FireWire drive, "the most reliable desktop tape drive ever." They nominated the drive for the 17th annual awards and noted, "When the FireWire version of the drive shipped this year, we found the perfect drive for backing up 33GB of data."
